Mark E Ellis, MD |
Mark E. Ellis, MD has been practicing Hematology and Medical Oncology in Williamsburg and on the peninsulas since 1989. He graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC in 1977 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency there in 1980. He practiced Internal Medicine in the US Air Force for 3 years before completing a three-year Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC in 1986. The remainder of his active duty in the Air Force was served at the David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, California as a staff Hematologist/Medical Oncologist before moving to Williamsburg in 1989. He has won numerous awards of recognition for patient dedication, the most recent being the 2004 Health Care Hero, presented by the Willliamsburg Community Health Foundation. Dr. Ellis is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology and practices in the Williamsburg and Gloucester offices. Dr. Ellis also serves as the Riverside Health Systems Medical Director of Medical Oncology and maintains admitting privileges at Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital, Riverside Walter Reed Hospital and Riverside Regional Medical Center. |

Guy W Tillinghast, MD |
Dr. Tillinghast is a 1992 graduate of Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, RI. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Massachusetts in 1995 and a Medical Oncology Fellowship at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, MD in 1998. Dr. Tillinghast was a Research Associate at the NCI where he completed an additional 3 years of cancer research, and he is currently the Medical Director of the Clinical Research Program at PCI. He has broad experience in all types of solid tumors, particularly breast cancer, lung cancer and gynecologic tumors. Dr. Tillinghast is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, and practices in the Newport News and Gloucester offices. He maintains admitting privileges at Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital, Riverside Walter Reed Hospital and Riverside Regional Medical Center. |

Mashour Yousef, MD |
Dr. Yousef is a 1989 graduate of Tishreen University College of Medicine in Latakia, Syria, and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital and Medical Center in Jamaica, New York, in 1994. He completed Fellowship in Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation at the Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein Cancer Center in Bronx, NY in 1998. His special areas of interest include acute and chronic leukemia, malignant lymphomas, as well as benign hematology. Dr. Yousef is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology, and practices in the Newport News and Gloucester offices. Laura D Kerbin, MD |
Dr. Kerbin is a 1994 graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine in 1997. She completed her Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, in 1999. While practicing on the Eastern Shore of VA, prior to coming to PCI, Dr. Kerbin co-founded the Breast Health Center at Shore Memorial Hospital and was the Founder of the High Risk Oncology Clinic for medically underserved patients. Her special areas of interest include breast cancer, malignant lymphoma and colon/rectal cancer, as well as palliative care. Dr. Kerbin is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Palliative Medicine, and practices in the Williamsburg and Gloucester offices. She maintains admitting privileges at Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital, Riverside Walter Reed Hospital and Riverside Regional Medical Center. |

Kimberly W Schlesinger, MD |
Dr. Schlesinger is a 1997 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she also completed her Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology in 2003. Her Residency in Internal Medicine was at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and was completed in 2000. After practicing as a member of the medical staff at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Cancer Centers until November 2005, she joined PCI. Dr. Schlesinger has a special interest in coagulation problems and breast cancer and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. She is primarily located in the PCI-Newport News location where she serves Riverside Regional Medical Center, but she also practices in the Gloucester PCI office and serves Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. |

Lynn B Ellis, CFNP, OCN |
Lynn B. Ellis, RN, M.Ed, MSN, OCN, CFNP, is a 1989 graduate of Christopher Newport University, where she majored in Psychology with a Biology minor. She received her B.S. in Nursing at Norfolk State University in 1992, a Masters of Education (Concentration in Counseling) from the College of William and Mary in 1997, and a Masters in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner Certification in 2005. She has worked extensively in the field of cancer medicine as a certified (OCN 1995) chemotherapy nurse, and has experience as a radiation oncology nurse and pediatric oncology nurse. She is a published author, and in 2004 was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Nursing Honor Society. Lynn is currently our Nurse Practitioner in the Williamsburg office. |
