Relay For Life is a community based event designed to celebrate life and to bring together those of us touched by cancer. In addition, the event raises money to help the American Cancer Society in its efforts to fight cancer. During the event, caring teams of people are formed and walk or run symbolic laps around a track. The laps are done to help honor and remember those lost to cancer, as well as to celebrate our survivors. Peninsula Cancer Institute is involved in three separate locations: PCI Newport News Todd Stadium May 11-12 Team name: “Movers and Shakers” Team captain: Jennifer Neal
PCI Gloucester Gloucester High School June 1-2 Team name: “Peninsula Cancer Institute” Team captains: Elizabeth Carter & Tina Jenkins
PCI Williamsburg Jamestown High School June 8-9 Team name: “E’s Angels” Team captains: Mary Zuch & Susan Miller
