Some great news regarding the laboratory of PCI:

-Danielle Taylor and Alisha Quinn both passed their ASCP certification exams recently!  Danielle for phlebotomy and Alisha for MLT.

-Williamsburg lab was recently inspected by CLIA and there were NO deficiencies!

-Both Williamsburg and Newport News labs passed their COLA inspections and are now COLA accredited!  

 

    ***A “Job Well Done” to our labs for all their hard work!!!

 

Community Outreach Programs:

Brenda Stout RN, OCN represented PCI during  one of Belk’s community outreach health events on April 12th, providing breast cancer awareness through prevention and detection.

                      ***Great job, Brenda!                                                                         

Some great news regarding the nursing group of Gloucester PCI:

Elizabeth Perry, RN, OCN has successfully passed the OCN exam and earned a four-year certification in the specialty of Oncology Nursing!  Liz has not only earned the honor of adding “OCN” to her list of credentials, but she has also helped PCI get one step closer to their goal  of 100% Oncology certified nursing.
