Trim asparagus spears to 6 inches. Flatten bread with a rolling pin. In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and blue cheese until it combines. Spread over bread; top with an asparagus spear and roll up tightly. Roll in butter; place seam side down on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Asparagus Bruschetta Ingredients: 3 cups water 1 tbsp olive oil 1/2 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut 3 garlic cloves, minced into 1/2 inch pieces 1 1/2 tsp grated lime peel 2 cups grape tomatoes, halved 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 cup minced fresh basil 1/4 tsp pepper 3 green onions, chopped 12 slices French baguette, toasted 3 tbsp lime juice 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese Directions: 1. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add the asparagus; cover and boil for 2-4 minutes. 2. Drain and immediately place asparagus in ice water. Drain and pat dry. 3. In a bowl, combine the asparagus, tomatoes, basil, onions, lime juice, oil, garlic, lime peel, salt, and pepper. 4. Using a slotted spoon, spoon asparagus mixture onto bread.
