Family Support / Palliative Services is a unique program started by PCI to address the many needs of our patients and their families.  We realize that it is just as important to provide emotional support as it is to treat the disease.  

Our staff strives to provide an environment where you and your families can safely discuss your concerns and fears so that you know we understand and we care.  One of the greatest gifts we can give at this time is to be good compassionate listener.  A much needed hug, a knowing touch, or simply our mere presence can be a complement to a patient’s treatment program.

Our approach to treating the whole person allows us to be better able to coordinate referrals to other services a patient might need, such as:

Home Health Care and Hospice Services
Medical Supply Companies and Equipment
Meals-on-Wheels
Transportation
Private Duty Agencies
Support Groups
